The Stigma of Mental Health Among Teachers of Color

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

There is a stigma around mental health in minority communities.  Many times seeking treatment for mental health is seen as being white and this should not be the case.  In this workshop, teachers will have the opportunity to hear how a teacher had to fight against the stigma and fight for her wellbeing.  Teachers will leave the workshop with a plan to conquer the stigma and tips to take care of themselves.
