Each June hundreds of educators from across the country make the journey to the Teacher Self-Care Conference that inspires their practice and rejuvenates their hearts. They leave with strong strategies and best practices for taking care of themselves in the midst of the whirlwind that teaching has become. Join us to find new teaching friends, new connections with education luminaries, and enough self-care strategies to harmonize their year.
In 2019, the Teacher Self-Care Annual Conference is scheduled for June 21-22, 2019! This year our theme is, "The Spirit of a Teacher" where we’ll be hearing from groundbreaking speakers, cutting-edge workshops, and seminars that address what teachers need.  Before signing up for your session, please purchase your tickets.

Save Yourself, Not Your Kids

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

It takes a strong and courageous person to be an educator. We are fighters in the ways that we love and advocate for our scholars. Still we can easily forget to fight for ourselves when it comes to doing the things we need to do for our own healing. Our scholars do not need our saving, they need educators who are dedicated to saving themselves. They need people who can model self-empowerment, self-love, and personal transformation. You are THAT educator.

Whether you know this to be true or not, this session will support you in strengthening your self-care practice and addressing deeply rooted agreements that may be holding you back. We will dig into limiting stories and beliefs about ourselves and ability. We will identify the things that happen within the classroom and outside of the classroom that trigger the stories that make us feel inadequate. And the best part will be transforming those old stories into new stories that inspire us and help us to stay connected to our sufficiency. To support you in this process during the session and beyond, I will be sharing a framework that addresses each of these components using tools such as creative visualization, appreciative inquiry, affirmations, and journaling prompts.

Come ready to dig deep and share a beautiful, safe learning space with fellow educators.
